Remembering Miss Litter

We, the St. Peter’s community, would like to remember our dear friend and former colleague who sadly passed away during the Summer.

Miss Kathleen Veronica Litter was born on 27th December 1932. In 1952, she embarked on a career in teaching at St. Mary’s Training College. We had the pleasure of Miss Litter teaching Primary One from 1973 until she retired in 1988.

Our deepest condolences to her family and friends.

May she rest in peace in the arms of St. Peter.

Without exception former pupils spoke fondly of Miss Litter, remembering her kindness. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

I had Mrs Litter in Primary 2. I always remember getting to play with the hammers and nails on Friday afternoons – and they were real too, not plastic! She was a lovely lady. May she rest in peace.

A caring and devoted teacher who contributed so much to the pupils in her care.
Her friendship, kindness and wit will be greatly missed by all her friends in Warrenpoint and Newry.
May she rest in peace.
