Today, children, staff, family and friends of St. Peter's gathered together at our Community Fun Day to celebrate the upcoming retirement of Master John Campbell. Eco-Committee Show School Spirit and Green Fingers

By the end of September, our school Eco-garden was bulging with home-grown vegetables, so the Eco-Committee decided to get digging! Whilst tasting the goodies that were grown, the children talked about what to do next and quickly decided to make delicious potato wedges.  Without delay, the Eco-Committee got busy washing, peeling and shaping the potatoes into chunky slices.  The children »»»

School Council Tuck Shop Success

St.Peter’s School Council welcomed the New Year with an extremely productive meeting. The children were full of chat and the buzz in the staffroom showed just how excited the Council truly are about their new roles. Armagh GAA Primary Schools Grand Draw

The boys and girls and their families have been very busy during term one at St Peter's this year.  In an effort to raise much needed funds for both school and club, each household was asked to sell one book of tickets for the Armagh GAA Primary Schools Draw.  The draw (which takes place every two years) is an excellent fundraiser for St Peter's as well as enhancing games and coaching »»»

Team Hope Shoebox Appeal

This year Primary Four at St. Peter's took part in the Team Hope Shoebox Appeal.  The appeal sends gift-filled shoeboxes to those in need in Eastern European countries, to the Former Soviet Union and to Africa. The Primary Four children learned how their act of Christmas kindness could be the highlight of the year for a needy child who has little to celebrate.  Our young pupils found out »»»

Armagh Schools Draw

From 6th October, children will be selling tickets for the Armagh Grand GAA Draw.  This is a great opportunity to raise money for your local GAA club, as well as for the school. Books are sold in packs of ten and tickets cost £2 each.  As well as being entered into the Schools Draw, each full book returned to school will be entered into our St. Peter's school raffle for some great »»»
