‘Spectacular’ Visitors for P2 and P3

Last week, Specsavers Opticians, Newry, visited with the Primary 2 and Primary 3 children at St. Peter's. The presentation, which was very interactive, and centered around visual activities, was brought to life by Bridget and Maria.  They talked with the children about the importance of looking after our eyes and making sure we keep our eyes healthy. Cancer Focus NI Schools’ Programme

How Rudolph Got His Red Nose

It's that time of year again, when all mummies and daddies come to St. Peter's to listen, laugh and delight at their very own superstar on stage for the annual P3 Christmas Show. Fairy Steps to the Giant’s Lair

On Thursday 21st May, our P3 and P4 children were lucky little fairies.  They went on a special journey to Slieve Gullion to explore the magical trail at the Giant's Lair. On arriving, the children were met by Bluebell the Fairy, Mrs Brambles (the good witch) and some wood keepers.  Imagine the excitement when everyone was given their very own wand to help them on the adventure! P3 FAIRY excited for upcoming visit to The Giant’s Lair

Thank you SO much to all the fairies in The Giant's Lair, Slieve Gullion who gave away a FREE SCHOOL TRIP to our P3 pupils on 20 May 2015!  The children are going to meet Bluebelle the Fairy, take part in art activities and storytelling, and meet some of the forest characters! You CAN make a difference! Anti-Bullying Message 2014

On Thursday 20th November, Mrs Burns took Key Stage Assemblies to explore this year's anti-bullying message with the children at St Peter's. Assembly began with a discussion about the qualities of a good friend.  Mrs Burns acknowledged how it isn't always easy to see and understand how our closest friends are feeling and stressed the need to keep talking to each other.  She encouraged the »»»
