There’s Something Special Going On in Primary 3

Football Teams on their way to County Finals!

The hard work and dedication shown by the girls and boys attending weekly after school training sessions for Gaelic Football is paying off. Last week, a squad of St Peter's girls headed to Silverbridge to take part in the regional heats. On Friday 14th November, Mrs Ward hosted an exciting school assembly in celebration of School Council Election Day. For two weeks children from classes Primary 4 to 7 had been working on speeches to run for class School Councillor. You CAN make a difference! Anti-Bullying Message 2014

On Thursday 20th November, Mrs Burns took Key Stage Assemblies to explore this year's anti-bullying message with the children at St Peter's. Assembly began with a discussion about the qualities of a good friend.  Mrs Burns acknowledged how it isn't always easy to see and understand how our closest friends are feeling and stressed the need to keep talking to each other.  She encouraged the »»»

Team Hope Shoebox Appeal

This year Primary Four at St. Peter's took part in the Team Hope Shoebox Appeal.  The appeal sends gift-filled shoeboxes to those in need in Eastern European countries, to the Former Soviet Union and to Africa. Roots of Empathy Lives Here

In October 2014 we began a new programme entitled Roots of Empathy.  Empathy is the ability to identify with another person's feelings.  The ability to see and feel things as others see and feel them is central to competent parenting and successful relationships in all stages of life. Humphrey’s Pyjama Day at the Nursery

On 10th October, children and adults at St. Peter's Nursery Unit put on their pyjamas and came to school to celebrate Humphrey's Pyjama Party.   For a voluntary donation of £2 per child, children wore their comfy PJs and participated in a number of fun and educational themed activities, whilst raising funds for The Children's Trust.   The children played games, heard »»»
