World Day of Action: Power Down Day

Recycling: It’s no WASTE of time!

Today, Lucinda Scott, from Newry, Mourne and Down District Council visited St. Peter's Primary School to deliver a programme aimed at helping the children to learn about the 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' programme. Soccer in the Sunshine!

One of the first pieces of post to land on Mr McParland’s desk following the Christmas holidays, was an invitation for some of our Primary Sixes to take part in the Newry High School Football Tournament. Our Shared Language – Ár dTeanga Chomhroinnte

On Wednesday 31st January, Gearóid MacEoin from Conradh na Gaeilge visited the Primary 7 class to deliver a programme, highlighting Irish as a shared language.  The programme, which receives funding under the Central Good Relations Fund 2017/18, is part of a Language and Cultural Awareness scheme which fits in with the Executive's strategic framework for improving good relations. 🎄Meet Evie the Elf 🎄

Today, the Office had an unexpected visitor.  It's our Christmas elf, Evie! Evie the Elf settled in very quickly into Office duties, looking up the names of St. Peter's boys and girls on Ms Crozier's computer, to make sure she had checked them all off her list.
