Fun in the Summer!

Cumann na mBunscol Ard Mhacha, the organisation that runs inter school gaelic games events, is currently promoting their ‘Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Fun in the Summer’ competition.

Schools have been asked to submit their entries to Cumann na mBunscol Ard Mhacha who will post the entry on their Twitter feed.  Winners will be decided on the number of ‘likes’ each post receives.  When you see our post appear on their Twitter feed, we need to ‘like’ the post, and tell your friends and family, too.

If you’d like to take part, we need photos or short videos (5-10 secs) of children from Nursery right through to P7 playing with footballs, hurls, sliotars; bouncing, catching, jumping, kicking and striking.  GAA club and county colours would be great to see.  Children in P4-P7 could even wear their school PE kit, if they liked!

You can email your photo or video to  All entries need to be submitted by Friday 12th June.  Get your school or county colours on and get snapping!
